Description
As a professional in the local and state wide management and development of timeshares, fractional properties, resorts and condominiums for 30+ years, I’ve seen our industry from virtually every angle ― in both good times and bad.
My name is Dennis DiTinno, CEO and President of the Liberté Resort Management Group in Treasure Island, Florida. My lengthy career has given me an incredible vantage point on our industry from a wide range of positions: management, corporate development, business ownership, consulting, national speaking and marketing management. I was fortunate enough to play a part in the conception of condotels and developed a unique program for the ultimate long term success of their future.
I understand the unique opportunities and challenges now facing our industry and I’ve made a substantial commitment to the training and education of fellow industry members through numerous articles and keynote speeches. My writing credits include national and statewide publications like the St. Pete Times News, for which I’ve written a column on condominiums, several CAI, ARDA and timesharing magazines and international vacation and timeshare publications, including ARDA, Resort Timeshare and Lodging, The Trades and other professional management publications.
My speaking experience includes engagements as both a keynote and support speaker as well as panelist positions for international ARDA, CAI and BITAC conferences on a broad array of topics, including management, marketing, vendor relationships, business development and unit design for future condotels and timeshare communities.
One of my most recent speaking engagements focused on the design of rational and successful operations criteria for developers of prospective condotels. A challenging topic, it was heartily welcomed and extremely useful for industry managers and developers, as we are now finding unique ways to extend the life of condotels through specific ownership documentation and specialized owner programs. I was also recently privileged to work with three world champion speakers on the production of a “how to” CD designed to help speakers transform panic to power when giving presentations for large audiences.
