Founded by leading fractional industry consultant Sherman Potvin, Fractional Homes International’s mission is to provide the most comprehensive, hands-on training and marketing support for real estate professionals, developers, investors and consultants entering into and/or currently working within the fractional real estate industry.

In the current economic climate, the significant financial and lifestyle advantages that fractional ownership offers, as compared to whole ownership of a second home, are even more evident. In turn, this will drive the demand for highly trained and qualified fractional experts. And no experts in the industry will be better trained than the Fractional Homes International franchisees, who will benefit from our Faculty's combined experience with hundreds of fractional projects.

To date, most fractional ownership projects have been made up of larger, multi-unit developments and private residence club properties. We are focusing specific attention on a fast-growing niche that we have identified within the fractional industry: the conversion of single-family vacation homes. Many of today’s baby boomers like to bring their extended family on vacation with them and also enjoy staying in a private home.

These evolving buyer preferences are creating a new business opportunity around fractionalizing vacation homes in a wide variety of locations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and beyond. This growth, coupled with the growth of “traditional” fractional projects, demonstrates the significant profit potential for qualified fractional professionals.
